Beta Build Xbox Series X won't claim copy Star Wars Galactic Racer as a Disc-to-Digital game.

If it's not backwards compatible, then it won't be possible to play it on a Series X with a disc or with a digital copy.

Even the games based on the actual movies were not all bad....and such room for more games based in the Star Wars universe, but sadly, the only time I want to see Star Wars characters getting down to a disco beat is and always will be, in LEGO Star Wars!

to be honest with you the disc copy of the game doesn't come with a game code that you can redeem. Basically, the digital copy of the game is separately purchased.
Xbox Series S consoles only reads digital copy of games and since the license of your game is embedded on the physical disc you won't be able to use it, I'm sorry you're having these issues.

Yes, Xbox One game discs should work on the Xbox Series X consoles, as they are backwards compatible. So if you buy the physical copy of Hogwarts Legacy on the Xbox One, you should be able to play it on the Xbox Series X consoles, However If you don't have a Digital Copy or Disk Reader technology that reads disks and install them on you're Console it'll will not work on Series S as it's all Digital.
