    Controller inputs "hijacked" when opening Game Bar


    When I open the Game Bar—whether via controller or keyboard—while a game is running on xCloud through the Xbox app for PC, the Game Bar "steals" the controller input focus. I am forced to disconnect the controller every time to get things back to normal.

    How to override microsoft xbox controller button layout settings with steam controller settings?

    Thats exactly the issue. The microsoft game bar disables them apparently because they don't work with the game bar open. And theres no settings in the xbox controller app to "allow steam input" ect.

    I have done everything you suggested and my controller still will not open the Xbox game bar. It will open with Windows + G but not my controller. When I first connect my controller it will open the game bar but after that it does nothing.

    keyboard & Mouse use for games like MW3

    It's hijacking the Wired controllers Signal then IceStorm III & Manipulating it, so the console won't bar or kick the device...

    Think about it noobs...

    Hey that's what I thought too but it happens regardless of the status of the click-through setting. My windows is also fully up to date, 21h2 22000.708

    Hello FlyingGrayson, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, because recently came out the latest update to Windows 10 and 11?
