    ❓Lets you install games from a physical disc

    • Not Necessary - I don't care whether this teature is included on a next-generation XBOX console or not
    • Nice to Have - I'd like to have this feature included, but l'd still consider purchasing a next-generation XBOX console without it
    • Must Have - I won't even consider purchasing a next-generation XBOX console if this isn't included

    The fact that Xbox is asking is promising. Let them know your thoughts, it’s under Console Features Survey in Xbox Insiders.

    I don't want to have to buy a standalone Dolby Vision Player just to watch movies. It was in the works when it was first announced. While it's nice to have Dolby Vision on streaming apps it would be nice to have this feature on physical media too.

    So basically, all games will now require a " Day 1 Patch " because the basic version of the physical media won't work properly without it?

    The Xbox 360 games didn't need such a thing as the physical media would function without a " Day 1 Patch " at all.

    Can someone please explain this to me?
