    Does Game Share work with Disc to Digital games?


    I asked this elsewhere but I figured I should post it here too. Just curious if Game Share works with disc to digital. My brother in law and I want to try it since we used to game share before. But I was curious if now he will have access to the games that I added digitally without me losing my ability to use them without the disc.

    I figured I'd ask if someone already knows. I buy more physical games. So we haven't game shared in a long time as I mostly only had new physical games and he has a Series S, not an Xbox like me.

    What experience do you have with Game Sharing? Digital Downloads makes sense to me however how does it work with a physical disc? We messed around with the Black Ops IIII disc last night & what's odd is there are times the game will run without the disc
    being in the drive.

    From now on we'll just have to buy online/MP games via digital download.

    Sadly, no its wishful thinking as MS said, sharing for digital is dead at this time. Maybe for the future though...

    These changes will impact some of the scenarios we previously announced for Xbox One. The sharing of games will work as it does today, you will simply share the disc. Downloaded titles cannot be shared or resold. Also, similar to today, playing disc based
    games will require that the disc be in the tray.

    Yes, it works, as do all Xbox 360 games, on disc or digital. The digital version was removed for digital purchase in 2018. This was because the licenses for the various real life aircraft expired.

    The removal (delisting) of any game for digital purchase does not affect digital purchases before it was removed from sale (your game will still work), nor does it affect the disc versions.

    If you share account. You share games, apps, every subscriptions what you have..

    You share only digital games. No on disc. Only digital.
