New to insiders - disc to digital not active after activating preview

In the upper left of the Xbox Insider app, you should be able to see 4 tabs:

Announcements
Previews
Activities
Profile.

Click on the “Previews” tab and click on the one that says “PC Gaming”, then click “Join”.

After that, follow the steps I previously shared.

Unless they are from bundle sites like humblebundle.com, I still buy disc based copies of my games.

I'm going to have to activate them with Steam, Origin, etc, anyway so it's the best option. I get a nice disc (mmm, that new game smell) and once activated I get a digital copy too.

Is correct. You received error messages because the keys do not exist in the registry. Does the problem still persist?

Microsoft is testing a new way to install games that I think can solve this but you need to get into the Windows Gaming Preview on the Xbox Insiders Hub app.

After entering, go to activities, and there will be instructions on how to install the games with this new way.

Nope shouldnt be. I haven't use the registration app for it.

Checked the insider app and the system preview program isnt activated so nope.

Since that is not a rewards program issue, his is the wrong forum. Anything preview related should be posted in the preview forums (you should see a link at the top of the forums for insiders). Rings are based on how active you are in the preview.
