    I'm having an issue with Alpha Skip Ahead, possibly using a wired controller specifically the Wolverine V3 TE Edition. Sometimes during gameplay, it's sorta like the controller disconnects randomly, but not long enough for a disconnect warning or popup to happen. It causes a weird aim drag, not drift, just feels like my controls are being taken over. It acts a lot like when a wireless controller's batteries die, just without the full disconnect that follows.

    Curious if anyone else has encountered any weird controller issues or any USB device issues in ASA. Issue has been reported on through Report a Problem.

    Wired Controller Disconnecting.

    It might be a faulty connection to the motherboard. It is never recommended to service your controller on your own as you can mess them up and it voids the warranty. Sorry but it looks like you need to buy a new controller.

    Thanks for replies. This problem is when no battery pack is in the controller - using it in wired mode. Today I went and bought a generic USB cable and so far it has not lost connection, so maybe the Play and Charge kit USB cable (I got this kit as a present
    but did not use the battery pack until recently) became faulty which seems a bit strange especially as I hardly ever unplugged it all year.

    Hey reptileegg,

    Sounds like you have a connection issue with your Plug and Play, or the port that it uses on your controller. The Disconnect / Re-Connect my have happened as the Plug and Play is starting to show problems charging your controller.

    Do you happen to have a charger for a Mobile phone (Android / Windows) Camera or other device with a Micro USB? I use these to charge my Controller occasionally.

    If this charger works and you have no issues, we can limit it down to the Plug and Play being the issue, if not, then the controller.

    Let us know how it goes.
