hope u know no game uses 5GB ram on a pc so they wont on a console no console will have nor need 12gb ram. only reason sony kinda went better with the GDDR5 was coz sony told devs it would only have 4gb ram but remember sonys GDDR5 is shared with the graphihcs
card where as xboxone is not

No it is not. I'll go slow so you can understand it... OK, here we go. Microsoft have 8GB DDR3 RAM, and their OS takes up 3GB of that RAM. So 8 - 3 = 5GB DDR3 RAM for games.

Now Sony on the other hand have 8GB GDDR5 RAM, which is better for most gaming functions. Their OS rather than using the bloated Windows 8 Kernel is using BSD Unix as its base and only takes up 1GB of that RAM. So 8 - 1 = 7GB GDDR5 RAM for games.

How is it a design fail??? 3 OS using so little ram. you find me a game on pc that uses 5GB ram at once??? Oh wait it don't matter because its a console game not a pc game EDIT: you find me a game that uses 5GB ram on console

Do you use instant-on mode?

The RAM probably needs flushing and as instant-on mode is more like a PC sleep mode it wont flush the RAM when you turn it off.

So fully shut down the console for a couple of minutes.

To do that go into the power settings and switch it to energy saving mode. Next turn the xbox off.

After a minute or two switch the console back on and try the game again.

I've also heard that holding the power button down for and 15 seconds can also fully shut down the console although I've never need this.
