    Prior to the update a couple days ago, I could remote into my Xbox from work and play and install games.

    Since the update, if I remote to the Xbox, it no longer has an install button for games.

    The install button has been replaced by a cloud play button but clicking it just flashes the screen then does nothing. Won't even cloud play, but that's because im remoting but should be able to install games remotely.

    Everything works fine if I use a web browser or the mobile app to install.

    Anyone else seeing this?

    I made a post yesterday thinking it had to do with the new ad supported cloud play test but now I've narrowed it down to it only happens when accessing the console through remote play. Logging in physically to the Xbox lets me install games again.

    Here's a support article about remote installation on the Xbox One console for you. If you've never used it before or are uncertain whether your game purchase went through (either because you're having trouble finding the console through the remote device
    or the game) then you should most likely wait to install the game or try the remote installation feature when you are actually with your console to make it easier.

    The most recent accessed apps/games are usually on your homescreen but you can't see who you recently played in a game.

    As what ngocphi explained. You might have assigned another profile on the console as your home xbox. With that being the case. Whenever the owner of that account purchase or install a new app on his console, it will also do the same on your end since the
    license is being shared on your console.

    Microsoft or Xbox does not have any remote access to customer's console to install a game intentionally to promote them but then won't allow the customer to play them since they didn't own them on the first place.

    But despite having a good, stable, 5G connection, 127mbps download and 34 ping, I can't get it to connect to my console.
