Beginning Ad-supported Game Streaming Test & Learn

Yeah I have been in it for a few days now, since the beginning of this week. I have been testing Backwards Compatibility and learning the preview dashboard, but ran into some trouble with the Wireless Display app.

That's when I decided to take to the forums and it seems that people need to be manually added to those as well? If not, then I am mistaken. But yeah, I still cannot get into the support forums for preview members.

I plan on streaming the beta so if anyone wants to watch go ahead. That way you can see what it's like and I'll give you my opinion.

Do you know when the beta begins?

October for everyone on Xbox some people are getting in earlier though so I', hoping to get in early.

twitch was on xbox from the beginning and was the only way to stream, mixer came out a few years later, as mixer was not doing well they sold the assets to facebook and closed mixer

any ads in the twitch stream are there by twitch not microsoft, dont want ads then sign up to prime i think as amazon own twitch.

you get ads with youtube also.

If you have had a 360 since launch you will remember it had no media streaming at all in the begining and these were added in later patches to the operating system.

Project xCloud and the Streaming Preview was only originally available to those who signed up to test it in advance a few weeks ago. As of right now the streaming preview is only for Xbox Insiders who are in either one of the Alpha previews. i don't believe
it has trickled down to the Beta ring yet, and it will most likely leave its preview stages before it trickles down to the other rings in the Insider Program. By then, the Game Streaming preview will most likely be running in bigger test sessions.
