How to solve "Game saves offline" on Pc (after playing on Xbox)?

Xbox game saves on both console and PC, are held locally and use the cloud as a backup. However, there are several steps to play games offline on PC as you have to prepare your Windows 10 and each game you want do do it for (at this time - it may change

OK, it seems like the Problem is not solved yet. I have also started twice and the save game got lost after my next boot. I hope they will fix it soon. It makes no sense to Play it that way offline.

I've this weird problem with the game recently, on xbox one and pc. everytime I launch the game and press start at the main menu the game tries to sync and it crashes but If I'm offline the game works fine. I've deleted the game two times, deleted the profile
data/saves and still can't play the game. I'm 100% sure this is a profile issue but don't know how to solve

Thank you for the video that shows me the issue that is occurring with Sunset Overdrive on your PC. I am going to further investigate this problem and see if someone on my team can help me with this. In the meantime, let's try another suggestion and this just to see if there is an issue with the cloud save causing this problem. Please do the following in the order presented

Solution 1: Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode; this error could also be attributed to issues with the Microsoft store not recognizing your entitlement to the game. Would you please click on this link Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode | Xbox Support. Then scroll down and click on the drop-down arrow and look at the steps for How to enable offline play on your device

Solution 2: Once you have completed the first suggestion, disconnect from the internet and then try to play Sunset Overdrive offline and let me know if that solved the issue. I want to rule out cloud save issues.

The saves in outer world’s appear to be linked to microsoft cloud saves and
it wont recognize local saves offline. This is not a issue with our computers or our software, it is a widely recognized problem for anyone on PC trying to play the game offline. There likely needs to be an update or hotfix for
this specific game.
