    Omega Build 10.0.26100.8866 Bug / Issue


    Alert! Omega Build 10.0.26100.8866 has a bug on Xbox One S consoles where the disc drive thinks the disc is dirty or damaged on a spotless disc (Xbox One Discs only) around 40% to 58%. Does anyone else have this issue, or is this just me?

    Sometimes that happens, despite everything, it's still an insider build. Some bugs can appear even if it’s the omega channel.
    The higher the channel the more bugs that can appear

    Yes, I was in the Omega build, the one supposed to very rarely encounter bugs. I quit it, and so far, it seems to have fixed my problem. It's a shame for the Insider Program that we have to completely opt out of it to enjoy our consoles... it makes the whole program useless.

    Hi, it depends what ring you are in. Currently there is no insider build for Beta, Delta and Omega rings, this means you will be on the current public build.

    Right now this is a known issue and the Xbox team is already aware of the problem

    Hopefully a fix is going to be released in the next days.

    There is a workaround , basically is join to the omega build (is a beta system) and update your console.
    But if you ask me, I prefer to not recommend this. Insider builds are less stables and bugs appears often
