    Remote Play Problems.. Can’t connect


    I have been trying to use the remote play feature and have been having issues. If I’m at home with my console, it works perfectly fine.. but that defeats the purpose. I’ve only gotten it to work away from home once. Usually, I’ll load the app, click my console, it goes through the loading phase and says connected to console. After it successfully connects, it shows the Xbox loading logo, then goes to a black screen. The black screen stays for about 10-15 seconds then it just goes back to the menu to select which console to connect to. Any idea why? I’ve checked the remote play requirements on the console and have all check marks. I’ve turned it off and back on, reset console, cleared cache, but nothing seems to work. Any advice to fix this??

    Can't use Remote Play feature when using cellular data

    So basically you can’t use Remote play anywhere, and how is 4G and plus not strong enough for remote play even when you stay in the same spot? I heard all you need is 10 megs upload in order to play remote play and you get way more than that over a good solid LTE or 5G connection.

    I need to find my Xbox and I don’t know how to locate it, can anyone help ive not been able to connect to the console and ive no idea how to find it any help appreciated

    Are you saying you have physically lost it or that remote play can’t find it?

    I'm having similar problems. Remote play is not working but I think the app can comunciate with the console because I see the library and I can change the name of the console in the app.

    If I rename the Xbox console on the Xbox settings, remote playing starts working. But after a few hours, the problem again.

    Another problem I have is with the remote controller of the app and with the connection from digital assistants. Remote conroller and digital assistants don't work until I change the xbox name on the xbox settings.

    I also have a PS4 Pro connected to the television, and I have no problems using Remote Play when the TV is off.
