    Xbox Privacy Settings Stuck On Customised


    Hi Everyone,

    My Xbox account has decided to lock my privacy settings into customised (with all communication turned off) so I cannot hear, access chat, type or add new friends. Every multiplayer game has lost its purpose as i can’t communicate with my team. Every-time i try and change the settings on browser and console i get a “sorry this service is temporarily down”, I’ve tried to change it for weeks!!! I’ve verified my age, I’m not in a family account and I’ve had no bans. Can someone please help me before I cancel my subscriptions?

    Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy.

    Select the Child, Teen or Adult default settings, or customise your settings by selecting View details & customise.

    Review the categories that are provided to determine what level of privacy you want to set for your account.

    you can access your privacy settings by first going into:

    1. settings
    2. Account
    3. Privacy and online safety
    4. Xbox Live Privacy
    5. view details and customise
    6. friends and clubs
    7. set to allow for friends

    Go over to the settings and find the privacy section under the account settings, then locate your parental settings and customise them to allow you to be able to add others on xbox live.
