    Xbox Series X

OS 10.0.26100.8561 (but this has been going on for years).

    Steps to Reproduce:

    1. Connect the Xbox Series X to a WiFi network. Verify “Current network status” shows “All services are available” in Settings > General > Network settings.
    2. Disable the WiFi signal (e.g., turn off hotspot). The console enters a “disconnected but searching” state. It will say "Can't connect to your wireless network. Try restarting your router".
    3. After several hours, re-enable the WiFi signal.

    Expected Behavior:
The console should automatically reconnect to the, similar to other devices.

    Actual Behavior:

    • The console remains in a disconnected, searching state and fails to connect to the any known network. Searching new networks never returns available networks.
    • Attempting to use the “Go offline” feature results in an infinite loading spinner.
    • The UI becomes unresponsive; pressing the 'X' button crashes the loading screen and forces a return to the main settings page.
    • Subsequent attempts to reconnect online continue to display the disconnected state.

    Workarounds:

    • Perform a restart of the console (this restores connectivity automatically, to the already known hotspot without issue, works all the time).
    • Occasionally, temporarily changing the default network and switching back may work. Very rarely.

    Notes:

If you turn off and turn on the hotspot quickly, the console reconnects without issue. There's a point when it happens but it's not immediate. But it happens 100% of the time.

    Xbox series x keeps disconnecting

Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    good evening

It sounds like you are experiencing connectivity issues with your Xbox Series X.

Router or modem problems: Make sure your router or modem is functioning properly and that your Xbox Series X is within range of the wireless signal. Try restarting your router or modem and then reconnecting your Xbox Series X to the internet.

Interference from other devices: Make sure there are no other devices that may be interfering with the wireless signal, such as cordless phones or microwaves. Try moving your Xbox Series X and router or modem to a different location.

Network congestion: Make sure there are no other devices or programs on your network that may be using a lot of bandwidth, such as streaming videos or downloading large files.

Xbox Series X firmware issue: Check for the latest Xbox Series X updates, and make sure that your console is running the latest firmware.

Xbox Live service issue: Xbox Live services may be down temporarily, check the Xbox Live Service Status page

Xbox One S will not connect to WIFI unless router turned off and back on

    Hi

It might be worth repositioning the console slightly just incase the wifi signal is not very strong where the console is located. If you have not already done so I would also look to getting your console to forget you wireless network and reconnect it to
    the network.

Why can't I pair up Bluetooth wireless earbuds with my console?

it uses wifi that the xbox has a receiver and sender for, similar to the microsoft pc wireless adapter but obviously built into the console.

no bluetooth at all. there is not a single bluetooth chip in the console, the modern xbox controller connect via wifi to the console or bluetooth to phones and pc if not using the adapter for pc. only the controller has bluetooth and this is basic at best.

Does the Xbox Series X or Series S support Bluetooth? | Windows Central

No Bluetooth for Xbox Series X

The Xbox Series X doesn't have Bluetooth, similarly to the Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X. The reason is simple; the Bluetooth signal isn't strong enough to meet Microsoft's specifications for latency. Microsoft uses its proprietary signal, dubbed Xbox Wireless, for connecting controllers and other accessories, like the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 and the SteelSeries 9X wireless headsets.

Microsoft's signal is far stronger than Bluetooth. Since many people typically game while sitting far away from their consoles in the living room or so on, Bluetooth's susceptibility to interference increases exponentially at longer ranges. If you were hoping you could use a USB Bluetooth adapter, it wouldn't work either, as the Xbox Series X and other Xbox One consoles don't have the drivers necessary to power them.

Xbox One kan inte ansluta till WiFi [Translation - Xbox One can't connect to WiFi]

Hi there (sorry for my english mistakes)

I have probably the same issue.

When I start or restart my Xbox one X it doesn't connect to my wifi network. The name of the wifi network is written but there is no connection

    I have already try :

    - To restart my router ==> I didn't change anything for month and it worked well with my first xbox one and my actual xbox one X before this issue. All my other devices (smart tv, phone, computer) are well connected to my wifi

    - To reconnect the xbox one x to the wifi with Settings / system / network / disconnect and then new connection

    - To power cycle the console, holding the start button for 10 seconds until the console shut down and disconnecting and reconnecting the power cable

    - To restart after clearing the mac adresse

    - To do a factory reset ==> The first start after the reset, i can reconnect the console to the wifi network (so I think I have no issue with my router), but if I shut down the xbox or restart the console. I lose the network. I have to do a new factory reset
    to reconnect the console

    Thank you for your help.

Xbox disconnected from WiFi and won’t connect again

Hi there! This is Virginia O.

I understand that you are experiencing issues connecting to your WIFI.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please run a network test by going to Settings > Network > Network Settings > Test Network Connection to identify any specific issues.

And then forget and reconnect to the network. To do this, go to Settings > Network > Network Settings > Set up wireless network.

Select your WiFi network and choose Forget Network.

Reconnect by selecting your network again and entering the password.

Next is to clear alternate MAC address by navigating to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear and restart your console.

Please make sure that there are no physical obstructions or electronic devices (like microwaves or cordless phones) interfering with your WiFi signal.

If it is an option, please connect your Xbox directly to the router using an Ethernet cable to rule out WiFi issues.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly connect your Xbox to a different internet connection/WIFI and see if it works.

This will help determine if the issue is with the WiFi connection of the Xbox itself.

    Thank you for your cooperation.
