    Can’t hear anyone talking in game chat


    Okay so I basically only play one game & that’s Rainbow Six Siege, I got a new Xbox since my old ones motherboard messed up, before I was able to hear my teammates in the game talking & everything but now I can’t, I checked all privacy & controller settings on both the game, games website, Xbox & Xboxs website and everything and still nothing? Can anyone help me fix this issue. To clarify I know they are talking cause I can see the little headphone symbol light up and I have speech to text on, so it pops up when they talk but no audio from them. Idk if this is a bug with the latest Xbox insiders alpha skip a head programming or what?

    I can hear but I can’t talk in a party chat.

    I realize what I said may be confusing. In a party chat, I can hear my friends but I can’t talk.

    I also have the same issue with the Xbox app where you can’t hear anyone in a party until you start talking then I can hear others. When I’m not talking, I don’t hear anyone even though I see their circle glow up indicating that they’re talking.

    Check you may want to change your audio settings. In System >
    Settings > Display & sound >
    Audio output

    Look for volume options and setting.
