Can't adjust mic monitoring and can't be heard on anything.

This has nothing to do with Mic Monitoring my friends can hear themselves because the OFFICIAL Stereo Headset I have you can't adjust the Mic Sensitivity.

Can't you hear anything on your headset? Follow this path and see if your headset volume is set to the right.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select the Audio & music icon at the bottom of the guide.

You can adjust headset settings like volume, chat mixer, and mic monitoring on the Audio & music screen.

Thanks for coming to the forums. Unfortunately, there is no way of turning off mic monitoring. You can adjust it to the far left side. This is the lowest setting. If not wanting the mic to be heard at all you can also just turn the mic off.

I simply can't hear myself when I am gaming, if I am sat at the dashboard and put the mic near my mouth an listen I can hear myself but only just on max volume, when I play a game the mic volume doesn't adjust for the game sound so I can't hear myself, hence
no mic monitoring (and an unhappy happy family trying to sleep)

adjust the mic monitoring and audio level.. Can other members hear you clearly if so this is just a mic monitoring issue if you have to hear yourself
