After the last night update my Xbox can't find the 2tb expansion card

Please tell me, xbox s sx exclusives only come with internal memory and expansion card?. Can past generation games be installed on a hard drive? Will the game that received the update for xbox s /x go to SEAGATE Game Drive for Xbox 2TB USB3.2 (STKX2000400) ? I'm still worried about obsolescence. Can it last 6 years? thanks a lot for the replies.

You can transfer just fine, but since you can't connect two Seagate Expansion Cards on the same console, you'll need to transfer your data to a external SSD or Xbox internal storage, then transfer it again to the other Seagate Expansion Card.

Choose Settings > System > Storage. Choose the expansion card with all your games on and then pick Transfer. You pick and choose what you actually want to transfer, or pick Select All. Select where you want to transfer it (SSD or Internal Storage). Wait for the transfer.

After all, plug your 2TB Seagate Expansion Card and repeat the process.

The up-coming 2TB Expansion will work the same was the current 1TB card works. It will be able to store and play all of your Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and BC 360 and original games.

Await Damnation i have a seagate 2TB expansion hard drive, cost 90euro, got it from PC world and i havent had any trouble with it, a friend of mine uses a western digital my passport 2TB hard drive and he has no problems with it, i also have a 1TB version
of the passport and i did have a few issues with it but after the last update its worked perfect with xbox aswell, i dont know about any other brands but i would recommend either seagate or western digital hard drives as they seem to work well with the xbox

You make alot of good points, well i guess I'll just wait for price drops and a 2tb version of the expansion card now.
