Did you manage to fix the connectivity issue? My Series X constantly drops connection to xbox live/internet despite an ethernet cable being used.

1. Try changing the DNS settings on your Xbox Series X. Go to Settings > General > Network settings > Advanced settings > DNS settings. Change the DNS settings to manual and enter the following values: Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8, Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4.

2. Try disabling IPv6 on your router. Some routers have issues with IPv6 and disabling it can help resolve connectivity issues.

3. Try connecting your Xbox Series X to your router using an Ethernet cable. This will provide a more stable and reliable connection.

Hi—

My NAT is open, and my Xbox is connected to my router directly with a network cable. Like I said, this issue doesn’t occur with Xbox voice chat, only when I join a discord channel on Xbox, either via transferring it or joining directly from the Xbox discord menu. None of my other friends have this issue, as they’re on pc and connected to discord directly. I can also connect to discord on my phone and use my phone mic and don’t have that issue, despite that being wifi.

Thus, it seems to be the discord on Xbox system, which is extremely disappointing.

For your Xbox console to connect to the Internet using IPv6, your home router must have IPv6 enabled and your Internet Service Provider (ISP) must support IPv6. If your ISP has already unblocked it, you need to check your router settings and make changes needed so it can switch to IPV6 To change it from the console:

1. On the Xbox Series X console, go to Settings.
2. Select Network.
3. Select Advanced Settings.
4. Select IP Settings. Change the "IPv6" setting from "Automatic" to "Manual". Enter the IPv6 address, subnet prefix length, and default gateway information provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
5. Save your changes.
