    Gamepass on PC slow to download. I have tried everything.


    OK... I've had enough. We've had enough.

    I've gone through what feels like every reddit thread and message board and there's still no definite answer.

    Painfully slow download speeds through gamepass AND the windows store. This has been happening for years now, I have gigabit internet at home.

    Even through wireless I should not be getting less than 1mbps... It's 2024.

    I don't have these issues with Steam, Epic, GOG or EA. Just Microsoft.

    • I have tried running every command through terminal. Everything. If you give me a command to try, I can guarantee it's already been done.
    • I have tried limiting bandwidth through Delivery Optimization. I have tried every possible combo, pausing and resuming, restarting my PC.
    • I have reinstalled the game pass app multiple times.
    • I have tried turning off real time protection for downloads.
    • Everything has been updated,
    • I've even gone down the date and time rabbit hole.

    I pay Microsoft for a service which I spend more time d*cking around with than actually using.

    The app is broken. Step up and fix it.

    Every 3 months it's something else wrong, and I have to spend hours of my time trying to figure it out. Tons of us have this problem, even on Microsoft's own message boards it seems to be ignored when there's no actual solution.

    thanks for the suggestion, I contacted ISP they were no help either, I got hooked to the network but am having a DNS failure, used military DNS still didnt work...

    I also think its a hardware fault, not something you can fix yourself. Reset your Xbox network settings to factory defaults, wire it into a friends router if that does not work I would say its faulty and needs to be fixed by Microsoft or replaced

    Ok well that didnt work. it was a great suggestion though (nobody has given me that suggestion)I have pulled out my Lynksys BEFSR41 (v. 4.3) router after reading about NAT. I cant find how to reset default settings though i went to 192.168.1.1 but there
