Why won't the Destiny Lightfall pc dlc work

Please first log into https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and let me know if the purchase shows as completed on your account.

It says it has been completed but does not show I have the dlc on the game. And I would expect to receive what I paid for and not just have it then after the new update it didn't work.

My apologies for the delayed reply. Which system did you buy the DLC for? If it is for Xbox then try highlighting the game on the dashboard and press the Start button then choose Manage. From here click on the game icon.

In this next screen find the Lightfall content and uncheck it then choose save. After it's been deleted then choose Select All and then Save to redownload.

If you're on PC then open the Store app and go to your Library and make sure it's installed properly there. If it is not then delete and reinstall again.

For both systems please make sure you restart after the steps.

All the expansions that are available for Destiny 2 on PC are also available for Xbox, and will include Lightfall at launch too.

Similar issue. My children could play Destiny 2 expansions that I had purchased for PC (not seasons) on my desktop until this week. Because of this ability, I purchased Lightfall for both Xbox and PC. Something changed recently so that my Microsoft family (my kids) can no longer play any of my purchased DLC’s for Destiny 2 on PC. They haven’t yet had issues playing on my home Xbox, but now I’m unable to play the new campaign with them. It stinks.
