Why won't my Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Update?

I own Minecraft for Windows 10, the version that is not bundled together with Java Edition. It will not update. I go to the Microsoft Store to update it, and it does not even appear in my library. I also tried updating it through the Xbox app and I click check for updates, but it does absolutely nothing. What is the deal? Are you trying to force me into buying the bundle version of the game by eliminating the separate version from the game store and making it inaccessible to update?

Your Minecraft for Windows game is also a Bedrock Edition. You don't need to buy the game bundle. Since the game's new update has just been released, it's possible that it's released by batch since there are a lot of players to cater with the server capacity. I advise you to wait and try again at a later time.

I'm not sure if there was an update to Minecraft Windows 10 Edition in the past few days but if they are running an older version that is why you can't connect now.

i had the same problem

go into the microsoft store then go to the down arrow with a line under it and it will have all the updates you can add including minecraft
