    Hello,

    I have watched some videos about fixing the Xbox Elite 2 bumper. My controller lasted just a bit over a year, and then failed. - 1 month after the warranty.

    This is very disappointing for a product from MS.

    My Logitech F310 is still going strong after 4 years.

    I took the top off and there is a piece of plastic I want ot remove or folder on itself.

    But there is a red clip in the way.

    I worried about bending it.

    How do I unclip it properly?

    Anyone else having to deal with this?

    If I send in my Xbox elite 2 to Microsoft can they fix the right bumper problem. I have already sent one Xbox elite 2 in and had the right bumper fixed and it lasted 2 weeks before having the same problem.

    I     tried to fill out repair order, but, as mentioned above, those are the only options i got.

    Bumper IS a known issue, as you can see.

    Btw., it doenst matter what caused 2 years warranty, it is in place and i'm in the right to use it.

    Series 2 Elite controller- any specifics on improvements regarding known problems?

    I was disappointed in the Elite when my bumper buttons broke. Also the rubber grips coming off as well. Hopefully these issues are & will be fixed for series 2.

    Gears of war 4 is coming, and now.. So am I.

    i've had 2 - horrible, Right bumper and left bumper went off. Now they have no more replacements for GoW4 LE Elite Controllers. Absolutely horrible that such a pricey product is made with such low quality.

    I totally understand and it is unfortunate that the warranty coverage has already expired. Nothing to worry, you have mentioned that you were able to temporarily fix your controller by blowing air where the bumper is.

    To permanently fix the issue, I would highly recommend you have your controller fixed to your nearest electronic store as they have the right tools to check and fix the controller's left bumper.

    I have similar experience before with my Xbox series controller buttons and I have it successfully fixed on one of my local electronics shops.

    You can also try to fix it on your end by following the detailed instructions here on this link: (But we do not recommend a self-fix as this can possibly damage the device more.)
