LB, RB, X, Y, A, SELECT, START and DPAD does not work.

Have you tried resetting your controller by holding the Xbox button for 6 secs? Try that then try resetting your Xbox itself by holding the Xbox button on the console for 10 secs and wait an additional 10secs before powering it on. Also try remapping
your controller to get it calibrated. I hope this is helpful.

Are you referring to remote play? I ask this because owned titles can't be played via cloud gaming
If it's remote play, is this happening only when you do the remote play?

If yes, is this happening only with NBA2K? Or if you try a different game the issue persists?
Also, if you play natively on your Xbox. The controller and game works flawlessly. Right?

And besides power cycling the controller and factory reset the console, did you tried something else or that's all?

I updated it a couple of minutes after the controller stopped working, that was one of the first ways i though of trying to fix it, and it didn't change anything.

Hello, no this is not just on remote play, and thats where it started, but now whenever I just try to use the xbox by itself the specific button wont work.

Do the buttons on the controller not work at all, or are they specifically not inputting on certain games or apps? One thing you could look at would be updating the controller's software/firmware, Xbox One controllers need to be updated like the console
does from time to time. Another thing you could see into would be replacing the controller under the standard 90-manufacturer's warranty... unless otherwise stated by the original purchase of the controller that would be the only warranty its covered under.
If your controller cannot be replaced, certain electronic hobby stores may be able to safely service or refurbish it for you for a fee. (Try some place like GameStop or your local games and comic book store for that.) If all else fails you may need to simple
buy a new controller if its not covered under warranty or there is no where that will service it accordingly as self-repairs are considered a violation of the consumer agreements and other documents like that.
