    I recently found my old Zune player, yay!!!

    I absolutely cannot find a single download for working software. I know that it was discontinued years ago but this is ridiculous! IF no one knows of any place that has an actual working download, please share. Otherwise, how in the world can I get my songs
    and photos off of the device another way??

    thats the way with tech, if it goes obsolete then that is it, you could try googling to see if there is any software but id be very carefull what you download, as the device is obsolete and completely unsupported there would be no way to obtain the software.

    just tried it and works ok.
    Nope, all looked well at first, (I scanned before running and had to run it in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode) but then it wanted to download additional software. Well, all it downloaded was WinZip and Chromium and a Yahoo Search. I wasn't even unable to
    uninstall the Chromium software, I had to restore my computer to a previous date. This is SO frustrating. I just want to get my songs and photos off of there! Isn't there any other way to access the hard drive? Thanks for your help.
