Zune Error Messages

I don't have an XBox of any kind, but since the Zune was phased out, I guess I have to post here.

I've had this Zune for 3 years. I love it and use it heavily. I began having error messages about the items being "missing" and according to support, I had to delete all the content and start over using certain steps. I've had to do that 2 or so times.
Then a few weeks ago, I was informed that 65 items could not be synched because they couldn't find that I had rights to them, even though they were on my player. So I went through and deleted out all 65 items and re-downloaded them.

The Zune was "missing" items again, so once again I deleted out all content, reset the Zune, and re-loaded it (the battery doesn't hold much of a charge anymore and I don't know if this is part of the issue or not - I am in the process of getting a new battery
installed). Now I have 629 items that won't sync because they claim I don't have usage rights, or they can't locate them. Plus I lost a bunch of stuff I bought with points, and I now have to "re buy" those items, which I'm not happy about.

I logged in and out of the account a few times. I made sure my credit card info is updated (even though you have faithfully charged my card every month).

I'm getting this error message: C00D11A6 (8004500F), and C00D1365.

If I have to delete and re-add 629 items, I'm going to be really really upset.

Please help. The "help" link that is in the error box no longer works. Please don't tell me to log back out and back in - I've done that ad nauseum.

Thanks for the detailed information about your Zune software issue. On your Windows 7 machine, have you ever stopped any of the "services" or changed any of their settings from Services in your Control Panel? I ask, because the software installs OK.



We do also have a support page for that specific error titled,
Error message "Microsoft Zune has stopped working" when you try to download from Zune Marketplace. I know that the title doesn't completely jive with your issue, but there may be steps there worth noting, particularly the anti-virus info there.
