Zumba Fitness Party won't work

I have been trying for over an hour to get this to work and nothing.

I cannot get past the "Hoover over play to continue" screen. Wish I had kept my Wii now!!

So far I have:

-> checked and gone through the Kinnects setup

-> reset the xbox

-> cleared my saved game as suggested on another post.

It still isn't allowing me to start.

Awesome. I'm glad you got this resolved. I just Googled the game and it looks fun. Also very tiring.

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game?

Try reconnect your Kinect and make Reconfiguration in Settings > System > Kinect & Devices and make the recalibrate your Kinect

Thank you for your response but 10 minutes after posting this I gave up and my daughter sat on the floor and it worked!

Turns out it will only detect our hands for the menu if we sit on the floor and do it. It then works just fine when stood playing the game.

This is probably because our living room is quite small. So anyone else having this problem should try this!
