Zoo Tycoon tutorial

Hi,

I recently downloaded zoo tycoon for my daughter on her PC and she can't get passed the tutorial stage. At one point in the tutorial she has to press § to pan out to the zoo camera, but no matter what key we press or how we press § the game does not react.
I uninstalled and installed the game again not once but twice, we changed the keyboard settings (ie languages) and I searched on youtube for videos on this subject but I can't find anything about a problem like this.

Would really appreciate some help! Does anyone here recognize this issue?
