Zoo Tycoon server offline?

Microsoft recently and currently (of time of typing this)

Had a sale of Zoo tycoon for half off, but I'm not sure if the servers are still active for multiplayer. I don't see any server issue reports on Xbox live server status. I assume it's maintenance, but there isn't anything saying it's having maintenance done.
I just bought the game with my family and since we own three consoles I thought it would be fun to play this with them but we can't connect cause it says the servers are down.

Thank you for the Reply. I have to add, we are playing Zoo Tycoon on Xbox One. Just noticed that I placed this in the 360 part.

Ive gotten achievements but so far multiplayer seems to still be dowb

No they're not. Attempting to access Shared Zoos gives an error about the servers not being available. This causes 5 or so achievements to be unattainable currently. I'd like to know either way if this is going to be fixed, since it seems like an minor fix--something
about the Secure Sockets Layer expiring, probably making this much less of a technical issue and more of an issue of someone hemming and hawing about whether it would be cost-effective to renew it. I have a bad feeling that it won't be fixed and they just
haven't bothered to "officially" nix it yet.
