Zoo Tycoon not working

Any time my son tries to play Zoo Tycoon the main screen come's on for a split second and then just goes straight back to the dashboard, anybody any ideas on a fix?

Digital Purchase Stopped Working

I purchased DR3 AC4 JD2014 Ryse & Zoo Tycoon as digital downloads. Saturday DR3 and Zoo Tycoon stopped working, they just crash back to homescreen. Im dreading calling customer service,

anyone got ideas?

 

Do I NEED to have an xbox?

Have you tried a hard reset?

I had the same problem with Kinect Sport Rivals the other day when I accidently quit out when it was trying to update. When I re-launched it would go straight to dashboard until I did a hard reset.

I notice Zoo Tycoon has had an update recently so maybe your son did the same thing.

Not sure if it's sorted or not but info about hard resetting/power cycling the Xbox One.

I tried the power cycling but still no joy is hard resetting the same thing or do I do something different for that?

 

I could be wrong but I "think" it's the same thing.

Me, when the console is on I press and hold the power button on front of console until it beeps and turns itself off. About 30 seconds later I'll press the same button to turn it back on.

I bet this is wrong lol

 

Do the power cycling twice, as after the update i had a black screen with sound and power cycling did not work but i tried it again and it worked, so you never know.

 

My lady has this game so I will test it on hers and see if it does the same. Hopefully the above advice helps you out though bud. I will post back if not, with the results of the wifes copy. (Hers is digi if that makes any difference).

If you haven't already mate I'd just delete it and download/re-install again to see if that solves it.
