" Zombi " game questions

I haven't had a chance to play it yet. About an hour or 2. I haven't come across any game breaking glitches ir didn't really read about any. I haven't really looked for topics like that though.

Ive just checked and you can turn off vibration.

^Hey Brand, considering you played on the Wii, are you really missing some of the mechanics from the controller? Is it really that bad that is doesn't have an online mode?

On one hand it's cool on the WiiU pad because you have the map there and not on your screen which is cool but I played for a few hours tonight and I got used to it. It's almost better because you don't have to keep looking down. I'd get it while it's on
sale especially if you haven't played it. It's an easy 1000/1000 with the only difficult achievement being beating it on survivor for 90GS.

I'm just a little torn, everyone says the Wii is the definitive experience and the Xbox One version is lacking some what, I just don't know if I should jump on it now or maybe wait till Christmas time when there might be heavier discounts on the same stuff.

In that case wait because it will probably be cheaper.

Thanks mate because let's not lie, it would probably sit there unplayed till the holidays anyway!

This thread did re-spark my interest in it though as it sounds a little similar to State of Decay, probably my favourite zombie survival game ever!

Well I'll be honest, it doesn't feel like State of Decay. I love SoD. This game is cool but definitely different with the exception that when you die you lose that character.

It's first person right? I wouldn't think it would feel the same gameplay wise, but just that intense, 'I don't want to die' feeling, haha. It really makes you think about things differently while playing!

It's first person alright, but it does have that "I don't want to die" feeling lol.

I picked up Zombi for the PS4 (it was $2.00 cheaper than XBONE). It is a decidedly old school horror survival game that can be quite tense at times. The save system is a sort of mixed bag. Your progress saves as you move along, and if you die, the character
you're playing is gone and you awaken in the safe house as a different one. Like Dark Souls, the game gets you to find your way back to where you died. You'll see the character you were just using, now turned to a zombie, and wearing your backpack!. Crush
its head and take back your stuff. If you die getting there, the gear is gone.

Unfortunately, you have to reach a safe house in order to save to shut the game off, so it can be a pain if you're in the middle of a session. It's an auto save, and as far as I can tell, it's a single save file on Normal, and a second for Survivor (when
you die on this mode, the game ends completely and your save is deleted...very hardcore).

Graphics are pretty rough (it would look rough even on the 360), but the game isn't about graphics. It's a solid buy for the price. Heavy emphasis on survival, so take your time and never rush into anything. Lots of shortcuts to be unlocked, so explore
a lot.

Did my 1st playthrough pretty easily. There are a few hectic parts. I'm gonna try my survivor run now. At least I don't have to waste time looking for the CCTV cameras. It's a pity achievement difficulties do not not stack so 2 more playthroughs needed for
completion. The easy run should be able to be finished in a few hours.
