    Greetings!

    I have an Xbox One that I would like to connect to my integrated cable box located within my TV. My audio system is connected via an optical audio cable and my Apple TV is connected to the "HDMI In" port. When I try to connect to live TV though, the Xbox asks
    me for my ZIP code and here's where the trouble starts;

    I bought my Xbox from another region before it was out here in Norway so i can not choose my region from it. I have noticed that several other countries and regions have appeared over the time that the Xbox One has released over the world, but still can't fint
    Norway there so I also can't put in my norwegian ZIP code when it asks me to. I talked to Xbox support and they told me that my region should appear as soon as the console released in my region, and since it didn't they redirected me to this forum.

    If you live in dublin 5, just enter 5 in post code, dublin in city.

    For clarification, did you select English before you selected your region during the initial setup? For your safety, I have removed your Middle and Last name. \ZIP code trouble :D/

    Do you mean the language? And by initial setup do you mean the "first time setup"? I can't find any way in the settings from the xbox dashboard that makes me able to pick Norway... Also, I apologize if i'm having a hard time understanding, my English is
    kinda slurry at the moment.

    No problem! For clarification, are you using your Apple TV as a cable box? Let's start with making sure your Language & Location settings on your Xbox One console match where you currently live.

    • On your Xbox One controller, press the Menu button and select Settings.
    • From Settings, go to System.
    • In the System menu, select Location.
    • From here you can change the settings to match your physical location.
    • Example: Language: Norsk, Location: Norway (Norge), etc.
    After everything is matched to your current physical location, try setting up OneGuide and let us know how everything goes!

  7. Thaaats embarrasing, i didn't even think of doing that! But yeah I changed the language to norwegian, and my region to Norway. I was now able to put in my ZIP code and i could also see all my channels but when i attempt to actually watch TV it just says
    "we lost the TV-signal, please make sure that everything is connected the right way" and yes, my apple TV is connected to the HDMI in port but that should not make a difference since my TV has its cable box integrated in it.

    , OneGuide and TV on the Xbox One requires a set top box from your cable or satellite provider. You're able to view the channels because you entered your region and provider, but the Xbox One console relies on a set top box to grab
    that content, which is why you see that error. Do you happen to have a set top box from your cable provider?
