    DHCP Reservation

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter Admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. Select Advanced from the options across the top.
    5. Select LAN Clients from the menu at the left.
    6. Enter the desired IP Address in the Enter IP Address field.
    7. Enter a host name if you desire.
    8. Enter the MAC Address of your Xbox Console.
    9. Click the Apply button at the bottom of the page.
    10. Select Tools from the menu across the top.
    11. Select System Commands from the menu at the left.
    12. Click the Save All button to make the changes permanent.


    UPnP

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter Admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. Select Advanced from the tabs at the top.
    5. Select UPnP from the menu on the left.
    6. Toggle UPnP on or off depending on your need.
    7. Click the Apply button at the bottom of the screen.
    8. Select Tools from the tabs across the top.
    9. Select System Commands from the menu on the left.
    10. Click the Save All button.


    DMZ

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter Admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. Select Advanced from the menu across the top.
    5. Select Port Forwarding from the menu on the left.
    6. Select the IP Address of your Xbox console from the LAN IP drop down.
    7. Click the DMZ link.
    8. Click the Save/Apply button.
    9. Select Tools from the tabs across the top.
    10. Select System Commands from the menu on the left.
    11. Click the Save All button.


    Disable DMZ

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter Admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. Select Advanced from the menu across the top.
    5. Select Port Forwarding from the menu on the left.
    6. Select the IP Address of your Xbox console from the LAN IP drop down.
    7. Click the DMZ link.
    8. Remove the Xbox console from the LAN IP drop down.
    9. Click the Save/Apply button.
    10. Select Tools from the tabs across the top.
    11. Select System Commands from the menu on the left.
    12. Click the Save All button.


    Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter Admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. Select Advanced from the menu across the top.
    5. Select Port Forwarding from the menu on the left.
    6. Select Custom Port Forwarding.
    7. Enter the IP Address of your Xbox console in the Server IP Address field.
    8. For all 4 port fields enter 3074.
    9. Set the protocol to both if available, if not create two rules one with UDP selected and another with TCP.
    10. Click the Save/Apply button.
    11. Select Tools from the tabs across the top.
    12. Select System Commands from the menu on the left.
    13. Click the Save All button.


    Disable Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter Admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. Select Advanced from the menu across the top.
    5. Select Port Forwarding from the menu on the left.
    6. Select Custom Port Forwarding.
    7. Select any entries regarding port 3074.
    8. Click the Remove button.
    9. Select Tools from the tabs across the top.
    10. Select System Commands from the menu on the left.
    11. Click the Save All button.


    Firewall

    *The firewall does not have any adjustable options.*



    Restoring Factory Defaults

    Through Firmware

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter Admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. Select Management from the menu on the left.
    5. Select Settings from the submenu.
    6. Select Restore Default from the resulting menu.
    7. Click the Restore Default Settings button.
    8. Click Ok on the pop up window.


    Through Hardware

    1. Locate the reset button on the back of the device.
    2. Press and hold the reset button for aprox. 5 seconds.
    3. Release the button and wait for the device to restart.


    How to Find Firmware Version

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter Admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. Select Status from the menu across the top.
    5. The Firmware version is found to the right of Software Version.


    Firmware Update

    1. Locate the updated firmware file either from
      http://www.zhone.com/support/
      or from your internet service provider.
    2. Connect a LAN cable from your pc to the gateway.
    3. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    4. Enter Admin for both the Username and Password.
    5. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    6. Select Tools from the menu across the top.
    7. Select Update Gateway from the menu on the left..
    8. Click the Browse button.
    9. Select the file that you obtained from your internet service provider.
    10. Click the Upload Software button.


    Bridging Guide

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter Admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. From the Home page, click on Setup.
    5. Click on New Connection. The default PPPoE connection setup is displayed.
    6. At the Type field select Bridge and the Bridge connection setup page is displayed.
    7. Give your Bridge connection a unique name; the name must not have spaces and cannot begin with numbers.
    8. Set the PVC Sharing to Enable.
    9. Enter a VPI and VCI. (Your DSL service provider or your ISP will supply these.)
    10. Select the encapsulation type (LLC or VC); if you are not sure which to use, use the default mode.
    11. Select the quality of service (QoS). Leave the default value if you are unsure or the ISP did not provide this information.
    12. Click Apply.
    13. Select Tools from the menu across the top.
    14. Select System Commands from the menu at the left.
    15. Click the Save All button to make the changes permanent.




    Multiple Console Support

    We have confirmed that this network device is unable to support more than one console with an Open NAT.

    5. Select LAN from the sub-menu.
    6. Toggle UPnP on or off depending on your need.
    7. Click the Apply button at the bottom of the screen.


    DMZ

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. Expand the Advanced menu on the left.
    5. Expand NAT from the resulting submenu.
    6. Select DMZ from the resulting menu.
    7. Enter the IP Address of your Xbox console in the DMZ Host IP Address.
    8. Click the Save/Apply button.


    Disable DMZ

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. Expand the Advanced menu on the left.
    5. Expand NAT from the resulting submenu.
    6. Select DMZ from the resulting menu.
    7. Clear the IP Address from the DMZ Host IP Address field.
    8. Click the Save/Apply button.


    Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. Expand the Advanced menu on the left.
    5. Expand NAT from the resulting submenu.
    6. Select Virtual Server from the resulting menu.
    7. Click the Add button.
    8. Select Custom.
    9. Enter the IP Address of your Xbox console in the Server IP Address field.
    10. For all 4 port fields enter 3074.
    11. Set the protocol to both if available, if not create two rules one with UDP selected and another with TCP.
    12. Click the Save/Apply button.


    Disable Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser and type http://192.168.1.1 .
    2. Enter admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.

    5. Expand NAT from the resulting submenu.
    6. Select Virtual Server from the resulting menu.
    7. Select the Remove box to the right of any entries regarding port 3074.
    8. Click the Remove button.


    Firewall

    2. Enter admin for both the Username and Password.
    3. Click the Login button found in the lower right corner of the screen.
    4. Select Advanced Setup from the menu at the left.
    5. Select WAN from the menu on the left.
    6. Click the Edit button next to your active connection.
    7. Click Next.
    8. Select Bridging.
    9. Click Next.
    10. Click Next.
    11. Select Tools from the menu across the top.
    12. Select System Commands from the menu at the left.
    13. Click the Save All button to make the changes permanent.




    Multiple Console Support

    We have confirmed that this network device is unable to support more than one console with an Open NAT.

    Login Information

    • Gateway – 192.168.1.1
    • Username – admin
    • Password – admin
    If your ISP is Consolidated Communication also try user/user for possible username/password.



    How to Find SSID (Network Name)

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. From the menu on the left, select Wireless.
    5. From the Submenu on the left, select Basic.
    6. The Network Name (SSID) is listed to the right of SSID.




    How To Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/WEP)

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. From the menu on the left, select Wireless.
    5. Select Security from the submenu on the left.
    6. The Wireless Passphrase will be listed next to "WPA Pre-Shared Key" or "Network Key 1-4".




    Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. From the menu on the left, select Wireless.
    5. Select Security from the submenu on the left.
    6. Select the desired security type from the Network Authentication drop down. Select Open if no wireless security is desired.
    7. Select Apply/Save at the bottom of the page.




    MAC Filtering

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. From the menu on the left, select Wireless.
    5. Select MAC Filter from the submenu.
    6. Select Disable from the MAC Restrict Mode.
    7. Click the Save/Apply button at the bottom of the page.




    Change Wireless Channel

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. From the menu on the left, select Wireless.
    5. Select Advanced from the submenu on the left.
    6. From the drop down menu labeled Channel select the desired channel. (Channels 1,3,9,11).
    7. Select Apply/Save.




    Change Wireless Mode

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. From the menu on the left, select Wireless.
    5. Select Advanced from the submenu on the left.
    6. Select 2.4GHz – 802.11G
    7. Select Apply/Save.




    Change Wireless Band (width)

    The wireless band (width) cannot be changed on this device. The default is 20Mhz.





    DHCP Reservation

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. Select Advanced Setup from the menu on the left.
    5. Select LAN from the sub-menu.
    6. Click the Add Entries button below the MAC Address IP Address table.
    7. In the following screen enter the console’s MAC Address and the desired IP Address.
    8. Click the Apply/Save button.




    UPnP

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. From the menu on the left, select Advanced Setup.
    5. Select UPnP from the submenu on the left.
    6. Toggle "Enable or disable UPnP Protocol".
    7. Select Apply/Save.




    DMZ

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. Select Advanced Setup from the menu on the left.
    5. Select NAT from the sub-menu.
    6. Select DMZ Host from the next sub-menu.
    7. Enter the IP Address of the console in the DMZ Host IP Address field.
    8. Click the Save/Apply button.


    Disable DMZ

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. Select Advanced Setup from the menu on the left.
    5. Select NAT from the sub-menu.
    6. Select DMZ Host from the next sub-menu.
    7. Clear the DMZ Host Ip Address field.
    8. Click the Save/Apply button.




    Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. From the menu on the left, select Advanced Setup.
    5. Select NAT from the sub-menu on the left.
    6. Select Virtual Servers on the next sub-menu.
    7. Select the Add button.
    8. Select Custom Service and input the name "Xbox".
    9. Enter the IP Address of the Xbox in "Server IP Address".
    10. Input 3074 for the External Port Start/End and Internal Port Start/End.
    11. Select TCP/UDP for the Protocol.
    12. Select Apply/Save.


    Disable Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. From the menu on the left, select Advanced Setup.
    5. Select NAT from the sub-menu on the left.
    6. Select Virtual Servers on the next sub-menu.
    7. Check the box under the delete column next to the 3074 entry.
    8. Click the Remove button at the top.




    Firewall

    There are no additional Firewall features on this device.





    How to Find Firmware Version

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    3. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    4. Select Device Info.
    5. Select Summary from the submenu.
    6. The Firmware Version is listed next to Software version.




    Firmware Update

    Firmware updates are installed automatically by the Internet Service Provider.





    Restore Factory Defaults



    Through firmware

    1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
    2. Open a web browser.
    3. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    4. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    5. From the menu on the left, select Management.
    6. Select Settings from the submenu on the left.
    7. Select Restore Defaults from the next submenu.
    8. Select the Restore Default Settings button.


    Through Hardware

    1. Locate the reset button on the back of the device.
    2. Using a toothpick or ballpoint pen press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds.
    3. Wait for the device to restart.




    Bridging Guide

    1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
    2. Open a web browser.
    3. Enter http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
    4. When prompted enter admin for both the username and password.
    5. Select Advanced Setup.
    6. Select WAN from the submenu.
    7. Click the Edit button nex to your PPPoE connection.
    8. Leave the default values in place on the ATM PVC Configuration. Click the Next button at the bottom of the page.
    9. Select Bridging under connection type.
    10. Leave the Encapsulation Mode on its defualt value.
    11. Click the Next button at the bottom of the page.
    12. Make sure the Enable Bridge Service check box is checked.
    13. The Service Name can be left on the default value.
    14. Click the Next button in the lower right corner.
    15. Click the Save button in the lower right.
