zdp zero day protection can not connect to server to validate

I won't lie - I doubt that official support will be able to help you. GFWL has been a red-headed stepchild of Microsofts for a while now and they just don't care about it.

It seems surprising because of how they're pushing Cross Play and whatnot.

I tried it thanks for the suggestion but it doesn't work I tried running as administrator, tried compatibility and everything else I could think of. was on phone with support for hours last night, talked to 7 different people. they just kept passing the
buck. I just want them to remote in and remove the zdp from my installation and replace / convert my exe files which i'm sure the zdp program would do right after verifying the date. I guess i'm going to try to contact them again. if I get it to work shushiestgecko3

This does not work. I haven't been able to play this game in a year now. First it was GFWL not working and giving the purchase history error for months. Then they fixed that but Fable 3 just will not verify the release date. Ive been trying to activate
this game everyday since GFWL was fixed but it won't activate.

There is no support you can contact for this game microsoft closed down lionhead studios a few months back and all GFWL links lead to dead pages. I own this game and all the DLC content and can't play it really frustrated at this point.

Try this:

In the Fable 3 install directory there should be a ZDP folder.

Run zdp.exe from that folder and things should work correctly.

Shortcuts for the game probably won't work - you might need to run zdp.exe each time.
