    Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duels crashes frequently during the tutorial when "Sychro summoning" if installed via Steam store.

    Re-downloading the steam client and game didn't help much. However the sfc/scannow command did find corrupted system files and repaired them. I needed to use the old command prompt it doesn't run through Windows Powershell though.

    I settle for an old version for as some of the new archetypes need to be reined in and multiplayer, sounds like it needs a ranking system to match players up more evenly.

    Konami has also gone pay to win if you want a strong enough deck.

    Hello Dane, sorry to hear you're having trouble with the game.

    As it was installed via Steam this may very well be a Steam related issue which would require contacting their support services.

    However, in the meantime you could try the following things to see if they help.

    1. Make sure PC and apps are fully updated with no pending updates. If there are pending then apply them and restart.

    2. Try turning off your antivirus program. It could be interfering with the game.

    3. Press Win + X at the same time, and then press Command Prompt (Admin),

    then type this in:

    sfc /scannow

    then wait for the scan to be completed. after the scan, reboot your PC and try running your steam

    4. If all else fails then try deleting the game and your Steam client then redownload them.

    Might I also add that Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels was re-released as an updated version entitled, "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels Plus". If you've downloaded the original version of the game, you can download the updated version at no additional cost.

    In case it cannot read the inserted card due to either similar images with other cards or if the illustration is hard to recognize (dark colors, foil), then it will ask you for the Password on the bottom left of the card, and it will give you a copy of the
    card if you enter it.

    It can read cards from the first Yu-Gi-Oh! booster, up to and including Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Starter Deck 2010.
