YouTube Xbox one didn't update

i still have the old YouTube app on my Xbox one with the red background. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and it still didn't update. I signed in to my profile and everything. How do I get the app to update? Because with the older version it isn't
letting me look at my uploads. When I click on the "upload" to view my videos it says "page cannot load". So I think updating the app will fix it. Any help is appreciated,

Xbox reboots switching from YouTube to Games

The issue is only with my 500gig "fat" Xbox, not my X1X. Perhaps youtube didn't test an update on all Xboxes.

What gives?

I didn't have YouTube installed onto my console but went into "My Games and Apps" and it was there, clicked on to install it but it just stayed on 1% so I shut the console down.

I asked my daughter who's actually on YouTube now on the Xbox One and it's running fine, she hasn't had no updates either.

I fired my console back up and YouTube flashed up on screen and it was installed. I've opened it up, watched a few short vids, all seems ok and no updates for me either.

Maybe it's just having a few issues, as I said it just stayed on 1% and didn't move whilst the console was on.

There has to be a fix for this. I feel like it just didn't update when it should have, but there must be a way to fix this! Any ideas?

the update didn't effect game servers or youtube's app. perhaps try calling 18004MYXBOX

Sorry to hear that you have this issue. but I'm sure that this is not a way to force you buy a new Xbox One or subscriba a YouTube Premium Account. Maybe is only an obsolete App that no one on Xbox team update from years and YouTube is always working and
updating itself, maybe this obsolete app can't work with newer youtube site/protocols.

I deleted the update and reinstalled but it kept stopping. So i canceled it and started over. The funny thing is that when I started downloading the update after I canceled it, it would start at the point I canceled it at. This happened when I reinstalled
YouTube on my xbox also. YouTube kept buffeting ever 1-2 minutes so I reinstalled it to see if it would fix but it didn't. All these problems started happening when I started to get disconnected randomly. Btw the reinstalling of the update didn't fix my problem.
