    youtube/xbox linked....how can i find out my youtube sign-in info from xbox website on the pc


    ok this is kind of a weird situation. my xbox and one other device (an android phone) are both logged onto the same youtube account. the problem is i cannot see any of the log in information in the setting section of the xbox or the mobile device. I am
    looking at the search history and on my pc youtube.com the search history is time stamped so i can see exactly when that search took place. unfortunately xbox doesn't have that. or at least i can't find it. and since this account has been logged into xbox
    for so long, i don't even know the email or password so that i could sign it into my pc and see this search history. xbox live is saying that my accounts are linked, but the email for my xbox live account is not the same email for the youtube account. i
    have been wasting so much time trying to figure this out and got nothing. does anyone know if i can see this info (youtube history) from xbox.com?

    Hey there Archlycan!

    It sounds like you have your YouTube linked to your Xbox One, which allows you to sign in from another device and queue it on your Xbox One. If you sign out of YouTube from your wife's device, she shouldn't be able to stream to your Xbox One. If you have
    a shared YouTube account, you'll need to sign out of YouTube on your Xbox One.

    Youtube app is rubbish compared to the 360 one, why the step backwards? Also when I am using the youtube app and watching a video if my son walks into the room it'll sign him into the xbox one but also cut out my video I was watching and sign me out of youtube
    and sign him into youtube?

    That can't be right can it? Just because someone signs into the xbox one it should not just switch user on the app I am using unless I sign out, games I play don't do it?

    I think I can answer your question here and please leave a like if this helps you at all.

    I would first like to ask and point out that if you have another device with your YouTube credentials saved or signed in last, this could cause YouTube to use that device as your primary and only device for their service, ie. PS4, smartphone, etc.. Remove
    YouTube apps from all other devices and only sign in on your Xbox device or device you plan to use most frequently, otherwise you will have to continue to link your Xbox console as YouTube only allows you to link 1 device at a time.

    Update, I spoke with one of the Xbox help people, and we figured out it was a problem that multiple people were having, that it stems from the YouTube side of things not Xbox, and that I should find a way to contact YouTube if I wanted
    a better workaround, so what I want to know is, how do I contact YouTube?
