YouTube will not sign in on Xbox One

Youtube signed me out. When i sign in, my phone or computer say “ok”, but my Xbox then says there has been an error. I am also now getting an error on Twitch. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Need help.

It sounds like you have your YouTube linked to your Xbox One, which allows you to sign in from another device and queue it on your Xbox One. If you sign out of YouTube from your wife's device, she shouldn't be able to stream to your Xbox One. If you have
a shared YouTube account, you'll need to sign out of YouTube on your Xbox One.

Youtube app is rubbish compared to the 360 one, why the step backwards? Also when I am using the youtube app and watching a video if my son walks into the room it'll sign him into the xbox one but also cut out my video I was watching and sign me out of youtube
and sign him into youtube?

That can't be right can it? Just because someone signs into the xbox one it should not just switch user on the app I am using unless I sign out, games I play don't do it?

Ok so lets start by asking few things .

1. is the xbox up to date?

2. Have u been signed in before on youtube on your account ?

@cobalt Dragons the You tube app doesn't work on xbox one at all

As for watching youtube on IE try this [View:http://www.youtube.com/html5] (while signed in to youtube) this will enable HTML5 as the default player for youtube so may work (not tested yet)
