    YouTube - Uploading Issue

    I've encountered a problem with the most recent YouTube update for the Xbox One. That being that now it seems I cannot upload videos from my game dvr onto YouTube. Which is quite a problem for Xbox One Gaming channels, me included.

    Whereasy previously videos could be directly uploaded through the YouTube app.

    A MESSAGE FOR MICROSOFT

    The Xbox One currently has this feature. You can record videos using the Game DVR feature. Then you can go to Upload Studio to mix the videos as you like (even using a backdrop if you're recording yourself). After you're finished and it's saved you can
    go to the Youtube app and upload that video to your Youtube channel.

    unfortunately this is a youtube problem i would try and contact them
    This is not true, the problem here is not with YouTube.

    I have 5 sources of HDR videos, all which work just fine with YouTube, except for Xbox One X DVR.

    The problem is with the substandard way Xbox encodes and describes HDR metadata in the produced MP4 file. And this should be fixed.

    Xbox 1's Youtube App is cool.

    I love the app too. The UI is really nice and the video quality is great. I like that you can pair smartphones/tablets to it so if you're watching a video on your phone/tablet, you can tap a button and have it play on your TV via the Xbox One - kinda like
    the Chromecast. The only update I want to see is the ability to share Game DVR clips direct to YouTube, although that's not really related to the YouTube app itself.
