Youtube videos just are black screen

90% of the time today when I clicked on a video in the youtube app for xbox one , the screen is just black, wont let you fast forward in a video, just stays at a black screen, have reset xbox, reset app, uninstalled app, unplugged network cord , powered off network, and now im running out of ideas.

Check your TV cables to be sure there snug. Most likely the app is problematic as there have been other reports.

I also know an update for the xbox is in beta and should be available eventually

Only on YouTube. Randomly when watching videos. Black screen for a while, and the booting screen shows up.

I read thr article you shared with me, and it's not about this kind of problem. Even free apps are not working, like YouTube, I can just see a black screen and I even can play a video.

yes there is wall hacks for black ops 2. just check out youtube. tons of videos.

Problem was:-

Playing Assassins Creed Origins

Then opening Youtube

Going straight back to Origins would get me either a black screen with sound, or Origins picture, but no sound.

Video output was set to Auto. I have just changed it to HDMI and back again and that seems to have solved the problem.

Youtube/Origins seem happy again.

Not quite sure what the problem was, but the video output route seems to have solved it.
