Youtube videos cut short when uploaded

    Youtube videos cut short when uploaded


    I tried to upload a video from my Xbox One onto Youtube and when it is finished, it is cut short by about a minute. The video I'm trying to upload is 2:36 but it comes out as 1:47 when finished. I've tried uploading it twice now and its done the same thing.
    I would imagine Xbox One would surely allow videos longer than 2:00 anyway. Can anyone help?

    hi. I upload gameplay footage to youtube from my xb1. lately though once my video gets uploaded and I check it the video has been cut short. today I uploaded a 9min 40 vid but on youtube it is only 1min 20. anyone know a way round this problem?

    YouTube and Uploaded Videos have nothing to do with Policy Enforcement or any "evidence" for action one way or another. YouTube has nothing to do with XBL other then it being an App available on XBL.

    In short, you wasted your time recording anything in hopes of Policy Enforcement and used YouTube as "evidence".

    Sorry to hear about the upload issue. Let's start by Uninstalling and Reinstalling the Youtube app. However, before you reinstall the app, do a power cycle on your
    Xbox One console to clear the system cache.

    To power cycle the Xbox One console:

    • Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
    • Once the unit is powered off, unplug the power cable from the Xbox One and let it sit for 5 minutes.
    • Plug the power back into the unit and power the console on.
    Post back and let us know if that helps!

    Youtube app is not working

    I am also having a problem right now where the Youtube app isn't uploading videos. It was working fine two days ago when I last uploaded a video to YouTube. But sometime later, the app wasn't able to upload. When I selected a video to upload, the app showed
    the progress bar of the video uploading, then the app informed when the upload was 100% complete, but when I went to my YouTube video manager, the video would not appear. My YouTube page would say the Upload Failed: Cannot process file. I also noticed that
    the YouTube app on Xbox was suspiciously uploading a 9 minute long video too fast. Normally when I upload a video that long, it takes a while, but when this error occurred, the YouTube app was speeding too fast to be believable. Maybe that has something to
    do with it.

    Streaming directly on Youtube via Xbox is not possible. Personally, I would also like to have this option if it works. It's just that you're uploading the video and uploading the video to YouTube via XboxDVR.com. Or, it's like plugging your Flash Drive
    into your console and uploading videos to it. Then plug this flash drive into your PC and then upload it to YouTube. Xbox is streamed to the official Microsoft / Xbox streaming service, and it's a Mixer. Or you can also stream through Twitch.

    I personally do this by streaming through the Mixer service. The video will save me to the record and download it directly to my PC on the Mixer site. On PC, I edit it and cut it down and then upload it to YT.
