    YouTube - Uploading Issue


    I've encountered a problem with the most recent YouTube update for the Xbox One. That being that now it seems I cannot upload videos from my game dvr onto YouTube. Which is quite a problem for Xbox One Gaming channels, me included.

    Whereasy previously videos could be directly uploaded through the YouTube app.

    Just look for an elgato on ebay. The HD one. I have it and it's still brilliant. You can also stream to twitch directly from the capture card.

    I didn't go for an elgato as I wanted one that worked without a pc (and the elgato's were quite pricey).
    The one I bought just records to USB stick which suits our needs.
    The file can then be run through some editing software to add text, effects etc.
    My son was well happy with it and has already uploaded a load of videos to youtube.

    While in the YouTube app if you select Library on the left-hand side you'll see an option to Upload :) Let us know if that helps.

    Hey DevonP20, to upload your MW3 clips to youtube you need to have Call Of Duty Elite. There is a freeware version on the xbox. Then you need to link your account with your youtube account then boom! you are able to upload your mw3 clips from your vault.

    Here's a good tutorial for MW3. You can do it with Black Ops, too. It'll be different for other games because you have to use the Theater feature in MW3/BOps, which, obviously will be different for Forza.

    You would have to use a video converter program to make a new video from your HD video. I use
    Freemake to convert videos to different formats, it's also 100% free. Then you can take your 720p video (1280x720) into a 480p video (720x480).
