    Youtube not resuming on Series S


    Hi All,

    I'm currently watching a DOOM 2016 walkthrough on YouTube, and I would like to be able to quickly alternate between the game and the YT app on my XB Series S. However, after switching from the game to YouTube, the app loads from scratch and doesn't continue playing my video.

    I have a brand-new Series S and never had this problem on my XB One S. Can anybody help me? Is this some sort of memory management shenanigans? This is very frustrating and defeats the point of being able to quickly switch in and out of games/apps.

    The fact that the XB One could do this without issue is troubling to me. Any thoughts are appreciated.

    Greetings!

    Thank you for posting in Xbox forum

    Based on your description, it seems that YouTube videos won't continue playing when you switch it from Xbox Series S to YouTube. This is quite interesting knowing it happens on a brand-new device.

    Have you tried pressing only the Xbox Button from Xbox controller? Or else, pause then press Xbox Button?
