  1. Youtube monetization for the Fable Franchise and Microsoft studios

hello, i am currently wondering about the monetization permissions for youtube videos on content such as fable the lost chapters and the entire franchise. I currently would like a friend to do a detailed series on fable the lost chapters, but i cannot find
anywhere if monetization is allowed. Due to the fact that my friend has gotten content id claims from microsoft studios in the past, i wonder if maybe that is a mistake or do you do that. Also if monetization isnt allowed for the fable franchise and for microsoft
studios is it possible to obtain a licence from somewhere, thanks.

    :)

  2. I hope you don't close Lionhead studios up.

Fable Legends being cancelled not so bad but Lionhead studios being closed is. The reason why I say this is because there won't be probaly any future chances for new Fable games which I love. Fable to me and probaly for other people is the Zelda for Microsoft
Xbox. Which the Legend of Zelda is long running franchise for Nintendo so Fable should be long running for microsoft. Think over before you get rid of Lionhead studios we need that Zelda for Xbox.

Peter Molyneux leaves Lionhead Studios to join independent venture

Good riddance to him, all he did was ruin the Fable franchise. Lionhead Studios should close down and pass over the Fable frachise to new developers.

I think this will depend on the developer depending on the game but I don't think anyone here would be qualified to give you such legal advice.

Whilst consoles such as the Xbox One support streaming to YouTube and Twitch for example, (Twitch supports a type of monetisation if you're getting a lot of views), I think the best thing to do would be to be cautious and not set any gaming videos up for
monetisation, and if you receive a "cease and desist" or "take down" email from the game developer to comply with it in a timely fashion.

Please also be sure to read the copyright information regarding the specific game, some of which may have contact information included which you can contact.
