Youtube Crashing

Has anyone else ran into this problem? I haven't been able to get Youtube to load on my xbox one for weeks. I've deleted and reinstalled it and done several hard resets but it will never load. When I try to launch the app it brings up the red app screen
(that says Youtube) but then crashes and loads back to the desktop, never actually loading the app itself.

I'm wondering if I have an issue with cacheing? Since you can't actually fully delete apps doing an uninstall/reinstall is useless for this, but hard resets (which allegedly cause the cache to clear) didn't have any effect. Please help!

Xbox one YouTube App issue

The YouTube app just keeps crashing as soon as I start it. It shows the YouTube logo then goes back to home screen. PLZ Help.

Yes, having the same problem. I called support and they were unable to help me. They directed me here. Are you a preview program member?

 

I am not a preview program member. Frustrating!

 

Ok, xbox support said it could be a preview program problem...but obviously it is not. You hit it on the head, frustrating not being able to use the simple youtube app.

 

I have also had this problem for about a month now maybe longer. I was just waiting for a solution for this problem but week after week, i could never find one.

 

Well I guess there is no solution and we can never use youtube again? Why couldn't this happen to an app I never use?

 

I started having this problem in mid-late June. Never had an issue before with any apps refusing to load. Wondering if one of the software updates introduced something that is glitching it?

 

Every time I load YouTube my entire Xbox crashes and turns off. This is frustrating considering I watch YouTubemany hours a day

 

This actually was resolved for me in the windows10 update. Anyone else??

I'm a preview program user and every time I open youtube it shuts down my xbox one completely. Does anyone know how to fix that it just started today?

 

I noticed this happening on my system a couple days ago also. I am a preview member and also joined the new xbox one experience (the big dashboard update that comes out next month). When I launch youtube one my system the box crashes and I have to turn it
back on. I was curious on if it was the app or just my system so I logged in on my brothers system who does is not in the preview program at all and it loaded just fine. In another thread an official support member mister beep said that it is related to the
preview program and the windows 10 dashboard and that they are aware of the problem and working on a fix.
