Youtube Auto quality in new Edge

Discus and support Youtube Auto quality in new Edge in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; Does any find videos only going to 720p in a window and maybe 1080p, enenthough its a 4k video up to 2160.     Youtube Auto quality in new Edge


    Does any find videos only going to 720p in a window and maybe 1080p, enenthough its a 4k video up to 2160. And internet is not it cause it works on my phone even at higher quality. It is 1024 MBps, 1 GPbs.

    In stats it sats my viewport is 1156x650*1.13 in window and 1708x960*1.13 which would make sense if the app ran in 1080p. Is that really the case on the Series X?

    Should I report my bug elsewhere? I think youtube is running only in 1080p.

    Microsoft edge xbox one

    The youtube app sucks. I would like to have the mircosoft browser work properly. I noticed there is a difference in the format and function from the youtube website on my mac, there seems to be a glitch with the edge and new youtube website. As an alternative
    there is two other browsers in the app list, which both work.

    The YouTube App might not support 4K at this time, but try the YouTube website on Edge to see if it is supported.

    Why are you using Youtube site on Edge App? I suggest you using the YouTube App.
