Youtube app on xbox one stuck on restricted

Hello,

My youtube app is stuck in restricted mode.

Youtube account is signed in

Age on the account is verified over 18

Restricted mode is turned off in the xbox app and everywhere else

Content restrictions on the xbox account are unrestricted

Content is viewable via the microsoft edge app on youtubes website and on my phone etc. etc.

The issue seems to be exclusively with the xbox app as the content is viewable with the same account outside of xbox. Already tried signing out and back into the account on the app as well as reinstalling the app itself. I can only conclude it is an issue
with the app itself and wanted verification as i believe i have tried everything possible from my end.

Yes, i thought it was a setting i couldnt find on the xbox account but i have a handful of other accounts and the issue was present there as well when associated with the specific youtube account and with different youtube accounts.

Its not a problem with youtube as the issue does not appear except on xbox itself.

Hello did you try to dissociate your youtube account from your xbox account and then associate it with new ones?

You should also attempt to contact You Tube support as the issue may be on their end.
