    YouTube app not working. Won't uninstall.


    So I use to always push YouTube videos from my phone to the xbox one and play them that way. Recently they just won't play or it'd be really really choppy. First thing I did was the hard reset where you hold the power for 10 seconds. Next thing I did was
    a detailed network test and my NAT is open, 0% packet loss. 40mb down. I've tried both wireless 5ghz, 2.4ghz, and hard wired. Hard wired I get 60 down. Went to try and start YouTube directly and the app wouldn't even open. Did another hard reset. Still wouldn't
    open. Here's a real mystery... Went to uninstall it. IT WON'T EVEN UNINSTALL! So as of now I'm at a complete loss as to what to do. I thought about doing a factory reset on the XO and going from there, but I figured I'd ask here first for some help.

    youtube problems

    is anyone else's youtube app on your xbox one failing to launch, and then won't uninstall to be re-installed??? Does anyone have a fix? Thank you!

    Apps not loading

    None of my apps are loading - Netflix, youtube, amazon instant video - was working fine till last night - any clue what might be wrong? uninstalled and reinstalled the apps too. no improvements.

    Game to App switch Assistance

    Same problem here. Uninstalled YouTube and power cycled the system and it won't happen if YouTube is not installed. Breaks as soon as I install and open the YouTube app. Tried replicating with twitch and no issue.

    Xbox Support says there are problems related to the app which have to be fixed by future update. I plan to leave it uninstalled. Will try again in a few weeks. I don't use the browser on the console but youtube.com might work better in the meantime.

    Okay it won't give me a uninstall option for youtube for some reason. .on other games and apps I press menu button and it pops up..on YouTube app it keeps saying ready to install I press install it doesn't do anything..I would hate to restore factory settings

    Try to close the app first maybe restart your phone before u uninstall it.

    360 Being very VERY sluggish after netflix failing to work/uninstall.

    I think I found it, the YouTube app that i downloaded didn't work well either and after uninstalling the 360 works great!

    I tried that did not work and I tried uninstalling YouTube and reinstalling the app and that did not work. This problem is happening on Xbox one x and Xbox series x!
