YouTube app not launching

Hi, every time I go to launch the YouTube app it starts to load as normall then flashes black and kicks me back to the home screen. I have tried uninstalling it ect and still no luck

• From the Home screen, navigate to My Games & Apps.
• Under the Apps tab, select YouTube and press the Menu button.
• Select Manage and then select Uninstall.
• After the app has uninstalled, press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once your console has powered off, wait a few minutes and then power on your console.
  
• Navigate back to My Games & Apps and under the Apps tab, select YouTube under the Ready To Install section.
  
• Select Install and after the app has installed, try launching it.

Youtube app not launching in XBOX ONE

Hi, I am getting error ' Youtube is unavailable. Please try again later' when I launch YouTube application in XBOX One. It was working until a week ago. Any help is appreciated.

 

Have you tried holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that solves the problem?

 

Yeah tried that, also installed it again and restarted router ect

 

Do you have an external drive? If so and youtube has been downloaded to it try moving the app back to the Xbox One drive. Some people have had luck in launching some things that weren't launching when they were on an external drive.

 

No mate all my stuff is saved internally, everything seems to work apart from YouTube the screen goes red then it jumps back to the home

 

I have had this problem since I got my Xbox One. All my 360 machines work just fine. So it is not a network problem. Something with the app itself...

 

Just talked with my son and he said it worked for him until an Xbox update occurred. Then we got into this state. So from the sounds of it an update caused this for me. Still doesn't provide a fix but more context.

 

Same here. I use my app a lot for looking at news and other things and now I can't unless I am on my laptop or phone. Bummer. I am just about had it with this console and the company. Me and hubby is heavily considering trade in for the PlayStation 4.

 

Yeah YouTube was what I mostly used my Xbox for, the best Xbox support can suggest is reset the consol to the factory settings its an absolute joke

 

Same problem here, not only YouTube, but showtime and comedy central do the same thing as well. Received a txt saying app issues resolved this morning and once again nothing has changed. Never had any of these issues for 7 years on the 360!!
