YouTube app not functioning properly

The youtube app sucks. I would like to have the mircosoft browser work properly. I noticed there is a difference in the format and function from the youtube website on my mac, there seems to be a glitch with the edge and new youtube website. As an alternative
there is two other browsers in the app list, which both work.

Well, I haven't had the buffering issue, not with YouTube at least, but I loathe the "new and improved" look and "functionality". It's garbage. Change for the sake of change with no real improvement or functionality. It's harder to navigate, the "recent"
uploads seem to be all months or years old, and it doesn't even fit the screen properly.

If it doesn't get fixed or changed back I guess I get to free up some hard drive space by deleting the now useless YouTube app on Xbox and go back to fully functional YouTube on the laptop where I get the added content of comments and the rest that Xbox
never saw a way to work into the app.

Most likely it was YouTube that pulled the app or the functionality to stream.

Sorry @caseofbase, the pairing done between the YouTube app on your Android tablet and the Xbox One is a function implemented by google/youtube itself. You will need to contact their support to see if they have this ability.

Xbox One SmartGlass is a separate app that can be paired with your Xbox One console for various control, input, social, and 2nd screen companion experiences (and it will remember your pairing , but unfortunately it does not function that well specifically
with controlling the YouTube app at this time (YouTube is working on a fix for that).
