Youtube App issues

For some reason the app has changed the way in which 'watch later works'rather than showing videos in the order of when they are added, for some reason its started showing the last video added first which is a nightmare for watching a series of something
if added via 'watch later'. I have also noticed that after watching a few videos the app freezes, you have to go to search and back and then it will work, only since the app updated itself last week, hopefully only a temp problem.

Youtube App Issues

Keep getting an error message, after playing youtube video for 2 minutes. I have unplugged the console, reset the console, uninstalled and reinstalled the app and keep getting this message: "Playback error. An error occurred. Please try again later." Now,
no videos will play. Youtube app is supposed up and running, but this has been going on for 3 days now.

Youtube App Issues

Same issue; it's been a week and the app either plays A video and not B and vise-versa. Deleted and reinstalled to no avail, and everday I check the Services tab, more things are flagged as down...I hope this issue is resolved soon. :/

The freeze after videos is driving me absolutely crazy. Having to press Y before pressing B every time is really annoying.

I don't get the issue after only a few videos either. It happens after every single video for me. I've unplugged the One to do a full reatart, deleted the app and reinstalled it and tried the app with my YouTube account signed in and out and it still does
it after every video. It just shows the background and "Y - Search" in the bottom corner when the video finishes and you have to press Y to bring up the search and then B to get back to pick another video. Pressing anything without first pressing Y does nothing.

I've chalked it up to a crappy update. Microsoft should think about putting apps through the same certification testing game updates go through... The YouTube app for the 360 has been riddled with bugs from day one and every update introduced new bugs and
features nobody wants and now it looks as though the Xbox One version is going the same way.

Also, the watch later has always been that way for me. Just added the series backwards, that's what I've always done...

Please, reset your console.

You can follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

Hi Liam have you tried power cycling down your console unplugging the power adapter and replugging in the adapter after 30-40 seconds it could be that temporary memory is causing the issue or the app has corrupted in some way if that doesn't help you fix
the problem i would also report this to @youtube via twitter and mention it to them also.

Hello Liam,

Thank you for keeping us updated. What troubleshooting have you tried aside from reinstalling the game? I recommend signing out of the youtube app and then re-logging in. If that doesn't work, let us know everything you've tried and we'll try to fill in
the blanks.

Well yeah, mytube is making a nice replacement. But this still doesn't change the fact of the matter that the youtube app should not be behaving in this manner.
